Were there not so many apartment buildings, phone lines, and other obstructions in the way this picture would contain a lot more clouds. As it is, I like it. For a little while it looked as if we were in for a storm but it apparently passed us over after much thundering.

Once we finally got to Eagle Falls there weren’t any signs about not climbing on the rocks so off Michael went. I was more than content to not climb and instead take pictures. (The title is, of course, in reference to his almost always present camouflage cargo pants.)

When I was heading home for lunch today I got to see these amazing clouds. Later on a large storm rolled in; had I turned the other direction I’m sure I would have gotten a sky full of grey storm clouds.

Another from our hiking expedition on Sunday. Maybe I’ll actually learn some things from this project. Looking back I realize that I should have moved to the right a little so that the post wasn’t blocking the falls.

Michael and I stopped at an overlook on the way home this evening. I love being able to look out and see the mountains as we’re driving.
