365 is a photography project. An experiment, if you will. It’s also a challenge to myself to post one picture every single day of the year (thus the name 365). See, I’ve been ‘interested’ in photography before but have never really delved into it. Lately I’ve been wanting to dive into dslr cameras but first I wanted to convince myself that I’d actually use one if I fork over the money for it. To give myself further motivation I decided to create a website to share those photos, as well as to be able to have something to look back on.

Wait, who are you?

Hi, I’m Allison. I’m a college graduate with degrees in Computer Information Systems and Mathematics. I currently work in Information Technology. Web design is one of my hobbies. To see other websites I have running, check out echodrift.

What type of camera do you use?

I currently have an Olympus FE-140. It was a Christmas present from my then-boyfriend now-husband. I’ll have you know that UPS called and woke me up when I had finally fallen asleep after more than 24 hours of being awake during finals week to let me know that they weren’t able to deliver a package. They had my phone number instead of his. Turned out that the package was my Christmas present.

Are any of your photos edited?

Possibly. As I’m just now starting this I really haven’t decided what processing I’ll do to the pictures before I post them. I’ll do my best to note in the entries what I do to each of the photos.
